About

About Evergreen Audiology

Evergreen Audiology is an independent audiology practice situated in Claremont’s historic Old Theatre Lane in Western Australia.

Founder and Principal Audiologist, Nicole Cordery, has a passion for working closely with her clients and their families to provide holistic, bespoke hearing services with no hidden costs.

From your first appointment, Nicole will be your primary contact and service provider along every step of your hearing care journey; a level of accountability and continuity of care that is second to none.

Why trust an independent audiologist?

Independent audiologists own and operate their own practices,  which means that the owner of the clinic is a university qualified Audiologist – not a hearing aid manufacturer or corporate retail chain.

When you visit Evergreen Audiology, you can be assured that:

  • We always provide impartial advice and have your wellbeing and best interest as our primary consideration.
  • Your needs, preferences, and concerns will always be respected and carefully considered in all clinical recommendations relating to your ongoing hearing healthcare.
  • We do not set sales targets, have preferred supplier arrangements, or accept any commissions or incentives to make specific recommendations.
  • We provide full transparency of all service and device costs, and only charge you for the services you use.
  • You will be empowered to make your own informed decisions every step of the way.

About Nicole

Nicole graduated with her Masters of Clinical Audiology (with Distinction) from the University of Western Australia in 2013.

Prior to opening Evergreen Audiology in 2022, Nicole was fortunate to complete her internship and work for 7 years in an independent private practice alongside one of Perth’s most experienced audiologists, Iain Summerlin. During this time, she worked extensively in adult diagnostic and industrial hearing assessment, and aural rehabilitation with all major brands of hearing aids.

When Nicole is away from the clinic, you will find her with her husband, three young daughters and two cats. She also enjoys gardening, photography, great coffee, and weekend getaways to the Great Southern.

Nicole's Clinical Philosophy

Conducting a hearing assessment allows an Audiologist to diagnose hearing loss, but only through engaging the client and their loved ones are they able to truly address the hearing problem; that is the impact of hearing loss on the client’s ability to engage with the people and things in their life in a way that is meaningful to them. What a hearing problem looks like for an individual is far more complex than a simple audiogram.

Nicole’s approach to aural rehabilitation is grounded in evidence-based practice and guided by a holistic view of the individual challenges and goals of each client. She does not believe in a one-size-fits-all solution to hearing loss.

Nicole’s role as the audiologist is to provide the education, tools and support each client needs to overcome their hearing problem and reconnect with life.

Nicole Cordery is an accredited audiologist with Audiology Australia and full member of Independent Audiologists Australia. Evergreen Audiology is an accredited Hearing Service Provider under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
All professional hearing services provided by Evergreen Audiology adhere to the strict Code of Ethics and Rules Professional Conduct of these organisations.
